Lead Tetroxide F/AD is a type intended for use in pyrotechnics for the production of initiating elements. Lead tetroxide is used primarily in the production of batteries and crystal glass manufacturing.

Litharge is yellow lead monoxide. It is used in the production of furnace tiles. It is produced in Barton converters. The production process is a two-stage procedure using lead of at least 970 R quality.
